To improve long-term recovery outcomes for urban Native people in Los Angeles County through implementation of culturally-sensitive treatment services, staff training, and development of MOUD screening and treatment tools in a residential SUD treatment program.

Santa Barbara and Ventura Counties
$300,000.00
To fulfill substance use prevention, early intervention, and treatment needs among American Indian and Alaska Native people in Santa Barbara and Ventura Counties by implementing resiliency-based cultural activities, developing culturally informed clinical MAT services, and strengthening a network of helpers who can assist AI/AN people in their wellness journeys.

To improve behavioral health outcomes and reduce barriers to care for American Indians in Fresno County through partnership building and expansion of services in a culturally comprehensive OUD/SUD program.
K’ima:w Medical Center
Humboldt County
$300,000.00
To increase opioid use disorder care by improving accessibility and engagement with MOUD treatment for Native people in Humboldt County by funding the detox stage for patients while also building resiliency and long-term supports through cultural competency training for providers, community stigma reduction, and the utilization of traditional practitioners who address mental and spiritual wellness.

To expand access to MAT, reduce geographical barriers to treatment and create long-term positive health outcomes for the Native community of Mendocino County by funding outreach, transportation to MAT, provider training and the acquisition of MOUD for the on-site dispensary.

Inyo and Mono Counties
$300,000.00
To improve health outcomes and behavioral health treatment services that Native patients with OUD in Inyo and Mono Counties receive by investing in trainings on trauma-informed and culturally-responsive care for MAT providers.
