46 organizations funded $17.9 million for opioid and stimulant use disorder prevention and education in communities of color

The California Department of Health Care Services (DHCS), in partnership with The Center at Sierra Health Foundation, announces the funding of $17.9 million in contracts to 46 organizations who serve communities of color. Funded organizations will provide outreach and education to increase community understanding of opioid, stimulant and polysubstance use, reduce stigma and increase access to treatment services through referrals and partnerships in communities of color.
