The California Department of Health Care Services (DHCS), in partnership with The Center at Sierra Health Foundation, announces the funding of over $21 million in grants to 59 nonprofit DHCS-licensed residential treatment facilities to expand treatment services in California and increase access to medications for addiction treatment (MAT). Funding will support MAT start-up and expansion activities through staffing, training and a collaborative learning opportunity to implement best practices.
